October 24, 2009, Kiev, Ukraine: Femen is a unique feminist activist movement in Ukraine, working against sex tourism. Their slogan is "Ukraine is not a whorehouse!" Sex tourism is brings a high earner for Eastern Europe and especially the Ukraine. Every week, Femen holds demonstrations and creates scenarios in the streets of Kiev to warn people about the dangers of sex tourism. Some activists tried to invade the Parliament of Ukraine, where there was a discussion of a drafted law to criminalize the clients of the prostitutes. The drafted law holds very little possibility of becoming a law due to corruption and economical interests of many people in sex tourism.
